Since I ran the Pedro’s 5km fun run last month, I’ve become a bit of a fan of this distance.
You can break 5km into laps, do it on a treadmill without outliving your music or just run a straight 5km.
I’m at that stage of rehabilitation where the injury is better but you’re working on getting your fitness back. It not only feels like an uphill struggle but it feels like a hill you’ve already climbed.
I’m at 27:16:36 (11kph), my first target is sub 25 minutes. We’ll see how I get on…
