Open University

I’ve been an Open University student since 2007, initially sticking my feet in the water with mathematics, computing and psychology. I’m now focussing on a  BSc(Hons) Computing and IT, picking up the Certificate Computing and IT and Diploma Computing and IT along the way.

Moderating

I was pleased to be offered a place as a forum moderator in September 2011 in the Café for the new Technology and Computing course, TU100. It has been an experience, with some good discussions and a chance to meet new students and get to know a lot of tutors much better.

Open University Students Association (OUSA)

I am the current OUSA in the East of England representative for Ipswich and was fortunate to have been voted on to the Assembly too. I currently manage the OUSA EE web site too.

The plan

As I set out in this blog post, I don’t want to keep being set back. Operational tempo simply is not going to let up in the next few years so I need to make a plan and adhere to it or I will not achieve a degree. If it’s crossed out its done and if it’s red then it’s in progress.
