Discovery

Today I discovered several things.

First, the Open University’s Using Mathematics (MST121) software is in Java and runs just fine under Ubuntu – Thunar was perfectly happy with the addition of “open with: java -jar %1″.  Second, despite having enjoyed this course up until now I have today cultivated a morbid hatred for statistics.  Thirdly, coffee can still get me through a night’s studying.

Lastly, on inspection, this exam doesn’t appear to be formative.   I believe the phrase rhymes with “clucking bell”.
